If Relations are Victims, Words are Swords

'A minute to learn; a lifetime to master'. That is the shortest definition of speech. It's true words are the very medium of communication. It's undeniably true that the first words led to the foundation of the human civilization. However, it is a popular saying that, where words are the most needed area of life, words are also the harshest weapon ever used. And, why not? A few words between Roosevelt and Stalin led to the Cold War. A few words exchanged for two opposing thoughts on slaughtering of pigs caused the Pig War.  But, how are relations actually related to words. First, to introduce, relations are the most sensitive agenda for any human. Every man and woman lives for relations- be it friends, be it family members or any pets. One shares some or the other relation with everyone he/she knows. And, it is undebatable that relations are built due to words and broken for the same cause. I would like everyone to remember someone you knew but are not in touch anymore.

Sunday or Sonday?

When you think of a Sunday, the first thing that comes to your mind is either the playing grounds, no schools, no restriction on watching television or the talks with your family discussing the whole week in a nutshell. If it is the latter one, you are from middle-east Asia and this blog is just the right one for you. It is a common belief in India that Sundays are a time to catch up with family and strengthen the bond of a father-son, mother-son and siblings. However, the recent past times have brought a decline in this culture. The importance of work has outdone the integrity of the family. The mood freshener that friends act as, has superiorized the weekly discussions with fathers. Defying the rules and beliefs of our Indian culture, our civilization has taken a step backwards.  'Sonday' has transformed into Sunday. According to me, a public holiday on Sunday was a concept for this very reason, so that one can discuss the problems, the issues and the barriers that hinder the

It Does Not Take Anymore Than What You Have

What does it take when you are ready? What does it take when you  have decided to have a shot at it? What does it take when you have decided not to take a step backward? What does it take- a handful of perseverance, a handful of grit, a handful of resistance. Yes, it does not take anymore than what you have. Yes, it does not take anymore than what you can afford.  Suppose you are onto your journey for a treasure hunt under scorching heat, troublesome palpitations, parched throat, humid atmosphere. You are continuously moving caring not about anything but where you are to reach. The road will be full of troubles. वो कहते हैं न, सफर में चलना है तो धूप तो होगी ही . However, you find tons of gold and then, nothing of it matters. The scorching heat appears to accept the supremacy of the same coloured gold. The parched throat is an example of "miles to go before I sleep". The excruciating palpitations are a hint of the pain endured by you. This story is symbolic. You might ask symb

Behind the Masks

A restless me wonders at times- what happened to the world. True that passing time brings about changes. Changes that some deplore. Changes that some condemn. Changes that some rue. However, somehow, the mind reins over the heart to explain that the truth is the bitter that is hidden. It is ridiculous that the same word "mask" which cannot cover the whole face, covers the collective lies, collective secrets and collective inhumane acts of the whole 767.35 crore people of the world.  The face, the truth and the world  is hidden behind the mask.  But, why is everything hidden behind the mask, someone asks. Because, to express the truth is a crime, punishable not by the law but by the civilians of the seemingly "so" lawful world. As they say, lies are never hidden, they are right but that concludes that the truth- the unknown will probably never unfold. If you ask, why I say so, please answer why are people handcuffed when they come to speak the wrongs of the world le
